COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — A Colorado Springs-area school district is refusing mediation with the family of a transgender girl who wants to return to school.

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexican officials say a 2-year-old boy from western Colorado was killed by his babysitter's ex-boyfriend at a vacation home in a Pacific coast resort town.

FOUNTAIN, Colo. (AP) — The parents of a 6-year-old transgender girl have filed a complaint with the Colorado Office of Civil Rights after her school district refused to allow her to use the girls' bathroom.

Have you ever been so excited to go on vacation only to be disappointed with something when you get there? An 8-year-old boy experienced this when he and his family went on a cruise on a Disney Cruise line, he was so disappointed with the cruise he wrote a "complaint" letter to Disney Cruise lines explaining his dilema.

We can't help but love local news programs. They never fail at bringing us some of the craziest people this country has to offer. Kids have the greatest imaginations on Earth. Their minds are free to think what they want. Their worlds are built on imagination. However, is this true freedom kids have becoming tainted?

As every parent knows, it's tough to get little kids to behave in a restaurant. Being in a new environment will excite the youngsters and many of their typically inoffensive meal time antics, such as loud talking, hyperactivity and the occasional food play, become amplified into something less adorable and more annoying when strangers are watching.

You might think that you are smarter then a fifth grader, sometimes. But I bet these two brothers can beat you in any form of  body strength ,acrobatic or lifting competitions! These two 'mini hulks' are only five and seven years old and starting lifting weights and working on a baby six pack when they were two...

It's Tuesday, so you probably need a good cry. Here, watch this video. It's children from Sandy Hook Elementary performing 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow' on 'Good Morning America.' The kids recorded the song, with folk musician Ingrid Michaelson, at the home of former Talking Heads members Tina Weymouth and Christ Frantz.
