Homecoming is always a special time for fans and students, but for the football team the focus is on one thing - playing good football on Saturday. Colorado School of Mines presents a huge challenge for the CMU Mavericks, and the question to be answered is will the Mavericks be up to the task.

The Colorado Mesa University Maverick Basketball teams ended the weekend at Colorado Christian University, and it was an unhappy ending. The best defense against high-flying offense? Keep the ball away from them. When Colorado Mesa University travels to Golden on Saturday at noon to take on Colorado School of Mines, the Mavericks will face the top offense in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
