In honor of October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Colorado Mesa University is hosting “Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend” with all athletic events this weekend.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks return home this Saturday to face the high scoring offense of New Mexico Highlands, as the Mavericks try to win back to back games for the first time this season.

It was definitely an offensive game Saturday in Spearfish, S.D., as Colorado Mesa University’s football team defeated Black Hills State 48-31.

Just in time for the season to start this weekend, the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) has released its Preseason Coaches Poll for college swimming and diving teams.

Colorado Mesa University’s fall sports teams, for the most part, are in full swing this season. However, some of CMU’s sports teams are preparing to finish up the fall season this weekend.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks head to Spearfish, South Dakota this week to face Black Hills State in the third conference game of the year.

Colorado Mesa University’s cycling team competed this past weekend in the Collegiate Track National Championships in Indianapolis, and finished the event as the Division II U.S. Collegiate Track Cycling National Champions.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks will welcome the Chadron State Eagles to Stocker Stadium on Saturday in week number two of RMAC play.

This Wednesday, Colorado Mesa University will host a softball game that involves two teams that usually don’t play each other during the regular season.

The Colorado Mesa Mavericks begin conference play Saturday night when they travel to Alamosa to take on Adams State.
