Flint, Michigan native Evie Branan, 79, suddenly awoke from a 5-year coma on May 7, 2011, and her first uttered words were, "I want to go to a Bob Seger concert." It's been two years since and Evie is finally getting her chance to attend that concert.

While he works toward the completion of his 17th studio album -- and first since 2006's 'Face the Promise' -- Bob Seger is also warming up for another run of tour dates that will see him back on the road with the Silver Bullet Band throughout the winter and early spring.

Colorado fans of Bob Seger are in for a real treat at his upcoming show in Denver, Colorado on April 2. Seger has invited guitarist Joe Walsh to open the show.

In a move that seemed somehow inevitable, rock legend Bob Seger and the irrepressible Kid Rock have announced that they are teaming up for a pair of shows in March. The rockers have been friends since 2000. Kid Rock was on hand to induct Seger into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, and he also made a guest appearance on his 2006 'Face the Promise' album...

Bob Seger has been hinting at a big announcement the last couple of months and now we know what it is, a concert tour. We're glad Seger decided to include Denver, Colo. as one of his stops.  If you asked what my favorite Bob Seger song was, I'd be hard pressed to come up with one, so here's my favorite Seger song of the day.
