A sporting goods store is the perfect place to find an excellent knife. A man who stole one obviously knew that and also made sure he left with a good one.

Crime Stoppers of Mesa County reports on May 16, a man stole a Gerber Remix Tactical Folding Knife from Sportsman's Warehouse, 2464 US Highway 6&50.

The suspect is described as a white male estimated to be between 35 and 40 years old. He's of medium build about 5-feet 10-inches tall with dark hair. The suspect also has tattoos on his legs, arms, neck, and back.

At the time of the theft, he was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, camouflage cargo shorts, and an Army baseball cap.

Witnesses say the man left the store in a late model teal colored lifted Chevrolet truck with Colorado license plate 513YGU.
