Sure Fire Picks NFL Week 6 – Broncos Roll Past Jets

Last week I was drinking the Detroit Kool-aid, and got burned.  I was 3-1 on sure fire picks which puts me at 12-4 on the season. So no Kool-aid drinking this week, just the belief that the Broncos are not going to stumble against the Jets. 

DENVER over N.Y.JETS
The New York Jets can not be as bad as they have appeared, can they? Uh, yes, they can. They are bad with Geno Smith at quarterback and only slightly not as bad with Michael Vick. The Broncos will lose again but not this week, although they  will find a way to make this game closer than it should be.
My Prediction: Broncos 27 | Jets  20

SAN DIEGO over OAKLAND
Speaking of bad teams, I keep thinking the Raiders can't be that bad, but every week they prove me wrong. They are bad. San Diego is good. Real good. The Chargers are a legitimate playoff team. The Raiders are legitimately bad. No, this one is not close.
My Prediction: Chargers 34 | Raiders 14

CINCINNATI over CAROLINA
After three impressive wins to start the season, Cincinnati sure looked awful last week against  New England. So, will the real Bengals please stand up? Caroline has been a bit of a mixed bag so far although they do sit in first place in the NFC South. The Panthers have been winning with defense, but I can't see the Bengals dropping two in a row. This one will be close, but the Bengals get the nod at home.
My Prediction: Bengals 24 | Panthers 20

SAN FRANCISCO over ST. LOUIS
I sure hate to pick against the Rams again this week, but San Francisco really needs to rise up and silence the doubters and this is the week to do it. St. Louis is not a bad football team, they are just a mediocre team led by a back up quarterback. I believe San Franciso is better than they have appeared to be.The 49ers will be too much for the Rams on Monday night, but at least it should be a decent game.
