Shocked Subway Passengers Have to Help Stumbling Drunk Cop After Fall

In addition to upholding the law, police are supposed to be fine upstanding citizens. This cop was so drunk he couldn't even stand up.

I'm not sure what the rules are for officers in uniform in other countries on or off duty, but it is a good guess that this type of drunkenness probably is not proper conduct.

Police often use the words serve and protect when it comes to the simple explanation of their responsibility to the citizens of their communities. In this case, it was the citizens who had to serve the cop by helping him up off the floor and likely protect him from further harming himself in his drunken stupor.

I suppose you can give the officer credit for doing at least one thing right. He took public transportation and didn't try to drive himself.
