Stupid Criminal Attempts to Steal Chainsaw by Stuffing It Down His Pants [VIDEO]

This stupid criminal thinks he can stuff a chainsaw down his pants and just walk out of the store without anyone noticing.

Even more ridiculously idiotic than trying to hide the chainsaw in his pants, is the crook commits the act near a clerk who was sitting at the counter. Sure, the clerk looked preoccupied, but even to a disinterested bystander, the sudden enlargement couldn't go unnoticed.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Anthony Ballard came into the store asking for change for a dollar and hurried out with the chainsaw in his pants and store employees giving chase. Ballard ditched the chainsaw and escaped, but was captured by police when he returned for the saw.

I'm guessing one of the questions police just had to ask the guy while interrogating him was what kind of wood he was planning to saw.
