Student Organization To Host Fundraiser
A local program to help support youths on an educational trip to Australia will host a fund-raising event this weekend.
The local People to People Student Ambassadors will host a fund-raising event this Saturday, February 23RD at the Colorado Mesa University Ballroom, 12TH Street and Elm Avenue in Grand Junction.
The event, titled “We’ll Always Have Paris”, will take place from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. The event will include a benefit ball with music and dancing, silent auction, refreshments, and photo opportunities.
Tickets are $25 per person, and there are no age requirements. Everyone who attends must have a ticket to enter. Tickets are available at City Market locations and by calling 970-812-FUND (3863).
Proceeds from this event will go towards People to People’s trip to Australia.
People to People Student Ambassadors offer international educational travel programs on all seven continents for students in grades 5 through 12 and college.
Student Ambassador Programs are typically 14-23 days in length and feature unique activities for building independence and maturity, exclusive cultural moments to increase global awareness and exciting destinations to foster a love for international travel and foreign cultures.
