Stolen Truck is Mesa County Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week

For the second straight week, a stolen truck is the Mesa County Crime Stoppers Crime of the Week, and authorities request your help in locating the truck -- and the thief.

According to Grand Junction Police, a blue Dodge Dakota truck was stolen from the Walgreen's parking lot on North Avenue between April 27th and April 29th. The truck had a Colorado license plate #511-XOQ, with chrome tie down anchors on both sides of the bed, and a smashed passenger side quarter panel near the rear tail light.

Anyone with information about the truck or the suspect involved is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 241-7867. Information leading to an arrest could earn you up to $1000.
