Startled Old Lady Slams Horn Honking Car With Her Bag and Deploys Airbag

This sedate, or perhaps sleeping old lady, was standing on the side of the road at a crosswalk when a driver pulled up to the intersection and started honking his horn at her. Startled, she decided to cross the street, but along the way, intentionally hit the car with her bag.

Certainly, the guy in the car had other options. For one, he should have gotten out of the car to check to make sure the old woman was alright and maybe offered to help her cross the street. He could also have just swung wide and went on through the intersection leaving the woman standing at the curb. He did neither. So to me, he deserved exactly what he got. What do you think?
