The Grand Junction Spotlight this week is on where I got my fur baby, Roice-Hurst Humane Society. This is what Roice-Hurst is about and this is what they've got coming up.

Roice-Hurst Humane Society is very near and dear to my heart, because that's where I got the love of my life -- my cat. I can't imagine life without him. The Executive Director of Roice-Hurst Humane Society, Anna says:

We're grateful to you and to the whole community. We're happy to be able to be that middle person that just takes care of the animal until somebody come to adopt them forever.

Anna said that it's not just about the animals, it's really about the animals and the people.

Roice-Hurst Humane Society's 3rd Annual Wuffstock Dog & Music Festivalis this Sunday at Lincoln Park. According to Anna, it's largest dog-friendly music festival in the region. Here's more about Wuffstock this weekend:

  • Sunday - 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Beer and wine starting at noon + music starts at 11
  • Mix 104.3 will be there broadcasting live
  • Yard games - cornhole, lifesize jenga
  • Bounces houses, tie die, face painting
  • Dog agility courses and more

And your dog can even take a dip in the Lincoln Park pool and then go to the dog wash station to get squeaky clean afterward. There's something for everyone at Roice-Hurst Humane Society's 3rd Annual Wuffstock this weekend.
