Since the news that Spider-Man would be joining The Avengers in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, we couldn't help but wonder what that was going to look like. It was a possibility that many movie fans had hoped for for years, but were told was never going to happen. We didn't even let our minds think of what could be. Now that it's actually going to happen, our minds are reeling. What will it look like to have Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye share the screen with Spider-Man? Well, you can get an idea with this awesome new Marvel movie mashup.

Taking elements of the climactic Avengers battle in New York City with various parts of Amazing Spider-Man 2 that take place on the streets on New York City (including the Rhino and Electro fights), this clip brings the best of both worlds together, as The Avengers and Spider-Man team up to fight a common foe.

Even in this form, it's pretty exciting to see these two sides team up. Iron Man fires a rocket, Spider-Man careens it off the top of a manhole cover and right into an alien leviathan who crashes to the street below. If an amateur sequence could look this good, think of what Marvel and directors Joe and Anthony Russo will be able to do when these universes collide on screen.

We'll know for sure when Captain America: Civil War opens in theaters on May 6, 2016, which now is starting to feel like a very, very long time away.
