Singer’s Crowd-Walking Beer Catch is a Cup Full of Awesome [VIDEO]

There are times when even the most implausible can happen. A singer's amazing mid-air beer catch is one of those times.

This awesome feat happened at this year's Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands when John Coffey singer David Achter de Molen snagged a cup of beer thrown from the audience and drank it while crowd-walking.

If the name seems familiar, the Dutch group's name is taken from 'The Green Mile' character John Coffey, played in the movie by actor Michael Clarke Duncan.

While the beer catch is impressive, I think it's staged. To me, the tell is de Molen drinking the beer. Nobody in their right mind is going to drink something randomly tossed from the audience at a huge music festival.

That also calls into question, is this luck, or a well rehearsed trick? Is this guy totally bonkers, or a brilliant performer? You decide. Either way, it's fun to watch.
