Alan O'Day, who wrote songs for artists such as Cher and The Righteous Brothers and recorded the 1977 chart-topping hit "Undercover Angel," has died.

O'Day died of cancer Friday at his Westwood, California, home at the age of 72, according to Billboard

One of my favorite events to watch during the Summer Olympics is gymnastics. I never cease to be amazed at the strength, agility, and balance of these athletes doing things that I could only do in my dreams. (not that I actually dream about such things...) Now I am completely amazed to discover  gymnast Johanna Quaas, who also does things that are far beyond me. What is significant here is the fact that Johanna is 86 years old.
