While this classic fail doesn't seem all that bad to us, in the world of competitive prize-winning pumpkins, this guy might as well have taken a sledge hammer to destroy this woman's giant pumpkin.

No matter how big the pumpkin, without the stem attached, it's a disqualification. Instantly gone is any chance of winning, turning this woman's entire summer of hard work into nothing more than an over-sized candidate for a jack-o-lantern.

Based on the look on her face, I'm surprised she didn't just collapse on the floor. Same can be said for the host once he found out how catastrophic his mistake was.
