Search for Missing Loma Woman ends in Tragedy

The Mesa County Sheriffs Office believes they have found the body of Roxanne Kostka. Kostka went missing last week and they have been searching frantically for her. As of this morning, the Sheriffs office believes they found her body between O and N Roads and 15 and 16 Roads.

The Mesa County Sheriff's Office says a deceased body was found at 9:45 and they believe it is the body of Roxanne Kostka. They believe that she had reason to harm herself but a further investigation is under way.

The sheriff's office will work with the Mesa County Coroner to determine the cause and manner of death, as well as a positive identification of the body. The Colorado National Guard and Mesa County Search and Rescue helped the sheriff's office search for the 62-year-old woman.
