If you're like me, the first thing you do in the morning is get a nice hot cup of coffee. Well, we are drinking our coffee all wrong.

Apparently, there is a right time and a wrong time to drink coffee and it all has to do with the release of certain chemicals in our bodies.

While the scientific explanation is in the video, the fact is, drinking a cup of coffee immediately upon waking is a bad idea because your body is already starting to flood your brain with a wake-up call.

If you drink coffee all day, there are also good and bad times to drink coffee in the middle of the day and late afternoon.

So, when you drag yourself out of bed, find something else to keep you busy for about an hour or so before grabbing that first delicious eye-opening cup.
