If you've been looking for friendship, companionship, or love there are two dogs and a cat awaiting adoption who would gladly give you any and all of those.

The dogs and cat are only three of many animals ready to be adopted from the Roice-Hurst Humane Society. No matter which one you choose, you can be assured you'll have a four-legged friend you can always count on.

To see the featured animals or others, just head to the Roice-Hurst Humane Society at 362 28 Road. They're open Tuesday through Sunday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m.

  • ChaCha

12-Year-Old Dachshund, Miniature Long Haired Chihuahua, Short Coat

By dog standards, ChaCha is a senior citizen but that hasn't slowed her down much. She has lots of energy and loves to play outside and then come in and snuggle. ChaCha has a cataract and cherry eye but she sees well enough to find you when she wants some attention.

  • Hera

    2-Year-Old Shepherd/Terrier, Pit Bull

Hera made her way to Roice-Hurst via Mesa County Animal Services as a stray. She's mild-mannered but has plenty of energy to keep up with an active family, especially one who likes the outdoors. Hera doesn't mind being around other dogs. She just wants to be part of a family.

  • Frank

    5-Year-Old Domestic Longhair/Mix

Frank found his way to Roice-Hurst after his owner passed away. The loss has made him very lonely and shy. Spend a little time with him, and Frank will blossom into a terrific cat. He's a great lap cat to pet and love.
