Ellis has been featured on our Roice-Hurst adoption stories before, but he still hasn't been able to find a forever home.

He's a Hurricane Harvey Rescue and can't go back to his original home so this sweet dog needs to start a new life with a new family in Grand Junction. Roice-Hurst is a great place to stay for awhile, but his friends are being adopted and Ellis is starting to feel sad and isolated.

To be honest, Ellis would like a permanent place to call his own, but he's willing to go to a loving foster home until someone can take him permanently. He's also convinced the caretakers at the shelter waive 50% of his adoption fee so a loving family who may not otherwise be able to pay the entire fee can adopt him.

Of course, Ellis isn't the only dog available for adoption at Roice-Hurst. So, here are a couple more dogs who would love you if you love them back.
