Reporter Nearly Run Down by Bicyclist on Sidewalk During Live Report

It would appear even the sidewalks aren't safe anymore when a reporter is nearly run down by a bicyclist riding on the sidewalk.

Reporter Nick Ciletti is in the middle of a missing persons report when he had to make a quick move to avoid the cyclist hitting him.

Whether the bicyclists actions were intentional or not we'll never really know. However, in most states, it's not legal to ride a bicycle on the sidewalk. Even if you do, it's still common courtesy to give pedestrians the right of way.

What really bugs me about this is it's riders like this that give bicyclists - even those who obey the rules - a bad reputation.
