Real People Winning Real Prizes From Downtown Grand Junction

Yes, Virginia, there are real people winning real prizes from downtown Grand junction and here's the first three winners of the 12 Days of Christmas.

It's the 12 Days of Christmas, and each day for 12 days we are giving away a prize each day worth at least $200.

Ofelia Vargas, of Grand Junction, was the day 1 winner, and took home a $200 Gift Card from the Downtown Association, good at any downtown Grand Junction business. Ofelia was having a difficult time deciding where to spend her $200.

Richard Nickle, of Grand Junction, was the day 2 winner, and won a $200 certificate to Enstrom Candies. Richard says his 22 grand children will be the beneficiaries.

Holly Parker, of Fruita, was the day 3 winner, and won a $200 certificate to Pollux Clothing Company in downtown Grand Junction. She was excited about doing some Christmas shopping at Pollux.

Today's (Dec. 8) prize is a $200 certificate to Junct'n Square Pizza; day 5 will be a $200 certificate to Big O Tires; and the day 6 prize is a $200 certificate to Benges Shoes.

As the song goes, there are 12 days of Christmas, so there will be plenty of prizes given away over the next several days. We have to get all the way up to day number 12.
