People, aka "golfers", generally don't go to the driving range for fun. It's usually for one of three reasons. One, they are insanely frustrated and are  trying to figure this crazy game out and find some level of competency. Two, there's a particular aspect of their game they need to work on - like the driver, or maybe it's long irons. Something in their game just isn't jiving. And, thirdly, it may be  they just want to stay in the groove when they can't get out to actually play a full round.

Fortunately, there are some great options for working on your golf swing in Mesa County when it comes to public driving ranges.

1. LINCOLN PARK
Lincoln Park is great because it's centrally located at 12th and North,  and easily accessible. There is a chipping green available, which seems to get a of use.

2. TIARA RADO
Located in the Redlands, Tiara Rado offers a two-tier range, and a nice chipping green. It doesn't seem to get quite as much traffic as Lincoln Park.

3. CHIPETA
Chipeta, located just off Highway 50 on 29 Road in Orchard Mesa,  has a nice driving range, and probably the most options in terms of the number of balls you can get in a bucket..You'll also find a chipping green, sand bunker, and a putting green for practice.
