Police Attempting to Find Possible Counterfeit Suspect

The Mesa County Sheriff's Department is looking for help to locate a woman who tried to pay using a counterfeit bill at a Clifton store.

The woman in the surveillance photo is suspected of attempting to use a $100 counterfeit bill to pay for a purchase at the Bradley Sinclair store at 3218 F Road on Tuesday (August 16) around 6 a.m.

The suspect, a woman believed to be in her 20's, is wanted for questioning in this case.
