This is what you call the dog days of summer. This golden retriever isn't content with just swimming in the pool, it wants to lounge on a pool float, too.

I have friends who own a golden retriever and these dogs seem naturally attracted to both water and people. While it seems the dog is interested in taking over the pool float from the girl, it is just as likely the dog wants to share the float.

Either way, this is every water loving dog's idea of a perfect way to spend a hot summer day.
