Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning will be back with the Denver Broncos for a third season after a physical exam today that showed no issues with his surgically repaired neck.

The required exam was part of Manning's contract, which the Broncos could void if issues were found with Manning's neck. According to the Denver Post, the exam showed there is nothing wrong with his neck and no reason why he shouldn't play at least one more season. He certainly looked healthy playing golf last month at the Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

So, now we can all breathe a collective sigh of relief. The future-hall-of-famer will be back for at least one more season with the hopes of leading the Broncos back to the Super Bowl.

There's no question Manning is a critical cog in the Broncos current state of being, and now that he's been cleared to play, the attention falls on some of the other "cogs" that will need to be in place if the Broncos hope to not only get back to the Super Bowl but to win it.

One thing we learned from the Broncos' Super Bowl loss is that Peyton Manning can't win the big game by himself. The return of a healthy Von Miller would certainly help the Denver defense, but there are other issues to be dealt with, including what to do with Champ Bailey.

We will have to trust John Elway and his staff to figure all of that out. But, at least for now, the biggest question has been answered. Peyton  Manning is coming back, and with #18 on the roster, the Broncos will again be in all of the Super Bowl conversations.
