If you are needing a night away from the kids, Parents' Night Out might just be what the doctor ordered.

The staff of Crossroads Academy in Grand Junction is hosting a Parents' Night Out - a chance to give the kids a fun night out - and to give parents some much needed time alone. What a great idea!

Sure, we love our kids, but sometimes we need time just for us - without them. That doesn't mean we don't love them, or that we don't like them. It's just a fact. Even parents need time away from the kids - and that's okay!

Here's how Parents' Night Out works. On Friday, March 18 parents can drop off the kids ages 3-12 at Crossroads United Methodist Church at 599 30 Road where they will be treated to fun activities, playing outside, eating dinner, and watching a movie. Meanwhile, parents can go enjoy the evening in their own way from 6:00PM - 9:00PM.

The Crossroads staff is background checked, and CPR and First Aid Certified so parents should be able to enjoy their evening worry free.

The cost is $20 per child, or a maximum of $35 for a family. Spots can be reserved by calling 243-3050.

With the kids out of the house for three hours, parents might find themselves wanting to spend the night in and enjoy the comforts of a quiet and peaceful house.
