One Guy Who Didn’t Get the Shaft From His Girl on Valentine’s Day

It may be Friday the 13th, but it's been a luck day for me. I received a Valentine surprise from my sweetheart  that came with a sweet, sweet song.

The kids from our church youth group were doing a fundraiser by doing singing Valentine's and my lovely  wife, Carmen,  was thoughtful enough to buy one and send it my way. So, Jeremy, Rachel, and Josh wonderfully  played and sang a beautiful love song, Jonathan Clay's 'Close to You'. Plus they provided me with a heart-shaped box of chocolates, and a beautiful rose.

I was talking with my co-worker Tommy Rocker earlier today as he was bemoaning the fact that men always get the shaft on Valentine's Day because they have to do everything, and the women are off the hook. Well, Tommy, here's one man who didn't get the shaft.
