In this amazingly high-tech world sometimes low-tech is the most ingenious solution to a problem. This cat lift is the perfect example of that.

Here's the problem. You're upstairs and the cat is downstairs wanting in. Instead of trudging down the stairs, opening the door to let the cat in and then climbing back up the stairs, you simply lower the cat lift to the ground, the cat hops in, you pull him up and he hops out.

This is simple, quick and most importantly, incredibly inexpensive. Some may say this poses a hazard to the cat if he falls out of the basket. My answer to that is it's no more hazardous than the risk of falling down the stairs to open the door and let the cat in.
