It's possible that we now know why we often times feel so irritated at work, as a new survey reveals the most annoying buzzwords and phrases in the office.

We have all used at least some of these words and cliches' at some time or another. And it's not so much that any of them are 'bad', but the fact is, many of these have simply been worn out, and probably need to be retired from public use. Part of the problem is that many of them are just empty and meaningless buzzwords and phrases that only leave us scratching our heads.

According to bizjournals.com, some of the most annoying phrases are "out of pocket",  "let me get back to you", "pick your brain", "it's not my job", "it's above my pay grade", "think outside the box", and "at the end of the day."

Some of the  other annoying buzzwords and phrases on the list include "dynamic", "win-win",  "crunch time", "LOL", and "value-added".

If this sounds like your office, you probably work with a lot of annoyed people. Maybe we can all work together to come up with some new buzzwords and send all of these classic cliches' to the shredder. Everybody apparently will be happier. Of course, now that I think about it, I'm a little annoyed by the word "buzzword."
