New Business Relocating To Grand Junction Bringing Jobs
After the Grand Junction City Council and the Economic Partnership collaborated on the plan, Sunshine Polishing Technology is bringing their ski lift and restoration company to Grand Junction. What does that mean for local residents?
Jobs. Between 11 and 15 of them. And new jobs means good news! Not to mention the over $4,000,000 it will bring into the Grand Junction economy. The company had been based in Eagle, Colorado and was looking at bids from not only Grand Junction, but Montrose and the Vail Valley as well.
The company provides maintenance and restoration of ski lifts and gondolas, and have gained a worldwide reputation. Sunshine Polishing began in 1998 in British Columbia and have advanced, through technology developed by the company, the art of plastic polishing, in addition to being able to travel to the ski lifts and amusement parks to improve their cable systems. Look overhead when you see gondolas and you are most likely looking at work that has been performed by Sunshine Polishing.
As businesses have been closing their doors in the Grand Valley, it's encouraging to find one that is excited about the prospect of coming to the Grand Valley and making an already excellent company even better.
Welcome to the Grand Valley, Sunshine Polishing!
