National Anthem Tryouts Scheduled in Grand Junction

The Junior College World Series (JUCO) Committee has scheduled tryouts for anyone who wants to perform the national anthem during the 2014 Alpine Bank Junior College World Series and other sporting events.

Tryouts are scheduled for two separate days – Monday, April 7 and Monday, April 14. Auditions for each day will begin at 7:00 p.m. at Canyon View Vineyard Chapel, 736 24 ½ Road in Grand Junction.

Musicians and singers are encouraged to tryout. Representatives for the JUCO World Series, Colorado Mesa University athletics, and the Grand Junction Rockies will be present, all looking for performers at their respective events.

Performers do not need to sign up in advance – just show up to one of the tryout dates.
