Mountain Lion Closes Hiking Trails in the Colorado National Monument

The Colorado National Monument announced earlier today that it closed the Black Ridge Trail to all activities due to activity from a female mountain lion.

The Colorado National Monument announced on their Facebook page yesterday that they were closing the Black Ridge Trail Update! between the Saddlehorn Visitor Center and the Upper Liberty Cap Trail Junction due to an active female mountain lion.

The trail is closed until further notice, see image below for highlighted route.
