A new survey indicates that most women think they look younger than they are actually. Whether or not they really do may be a completely different matter.

According to Daily Mail, 75% of women think they look younger than they really are,  and the average woman doesn't think she starts to look old until 46. One in ten women actually think they look as much as a decade younger than they are.

We are a society consumed with beauty and appearance. Just look at the magazine on display in the check out line at the grocery store. It's no wonder the average woman  spends $100 or more each year on anti-aging products. According to the survey, 12% of women spend as much as $400 each year,

Honestly, it's not just women that are consumed with how they look. A lot of men deal with the same sorts of issues, but it just seems different for a woman.

The fact is, we are all growing older, we all are looking older, and the fact is, eventually we are all going to look old, no matter what we do. But, that doesn't stop us from trying to put off the inevitable for as long as possible, and there certainly is nothing wrong with that.

Most men, I would expect, want their significant other to look as good as possible - for as long as possible. This could mean plenty of money spent on beauty products, including hair coloring. Guys, if you want your woman to look good - and who doesn't - don't be complaining about the money she spends on herself in this area. Remember, you are the one who benefits, so cut her plenty of slack. And be sure to acknowledge when she looks good. It will boost her self-esteem and confidence, and she is likely to want to keep on looking good for you.
