One Montrose youth organization has received $7500 from the Peyton Manning Foundation.

The Black Canyon Boys and Girls Club is the benefactor of a grant from the PeyBack Foundation, which was established in 1999 by former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning.

The club received $7500 for its summer camp program. According to the club's executive director Martin Barrett, the PeyBack Foundation funds three part-time summer staff positions and bus rental fees for field trips. Barrett says the grant has allowed 90 more children to enroll in the 8-week  summer program.

The Black Canyon Boys and Girls Club is serving 240 children this summer, which is 145 more than it served just to years ago. The club provides a safe, fun, affordable place for kids during the summer months.

The PeyBack Foundation is at work in Colorado, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Indiana, providing more than $12 million to at-risk youth since in began nearly 20 years ago.
