This weekend is all about the outdoors in the Grand Valley and there's no better place to score some killer gear than the MOG Outdoor Festival.

Downtown Grand Junction will be transformed into an outdoor enthusiasts paradise featuring great deals from some of the industries biggest names. Plus, over 200 cyclists will participate in the 4th annual Maverick Classic a Rocky Mountain Collegiate Cycling Conference Regional Championship.

Kicking off on Friday, April 24 at Edgewater Brewery is the Telluride Mountainfilm on Tour that will highlight some of the best-loved films from the annual film festival in Telluride. Admission to the film festival is $8 ($5 with student ID) so you can catch the adrenaline-laces short films. If you're a little thirsty, there will be a beer garden as well as gear giveaways. Don't forget to bring your own chairs, or something to chill on.

On Saturday, April 25 downtown Grand Junction becomes an enormous outdoor gear store where you can buy gear straight from the reps and retailers. Oh, and there will be a beer garden and live music, all free of charge. Get down there early to get the best gear before it's all picked over. The MOG Sale starts at 10:00 a.m. and runs until 9:00 p.m.

Have some old gear laying around the house? On Sunday, April 26 the COPMOBA Bike + Gear Swap invades downtown Grand Junction. Get some killer deals on used gear or sell that dusty-old bike you thought you'd ride a lot more.
