A Hotchkiss woman missing since last week has been found dead in Utah. According to the Delta County Sheriff's Office, her reported boyfriend has been taken into custody.

Madelaine Loh, 27, was found yesterday (Wednesday, June 27)) afternoon. According to the Montrose Daily Press, Delta County authorities began the search for Loh last Sunday, June 24. Loh's mother reported her missing, claiming she had not seen her daughter since June 19.

Undersheriff Mark Taylor said Loh's reported boyfriend, Edgar Macias-Moreno, came to the Delta County Sheriff's Office and confessed to killing her and dumping her body.

According to the Montrose Daily Press, Loh's cause of death has not released. Macias-Moreno was held on suspicion of first-degree murder.
