Award winning singer/songwriter Michael Martin Murphey, a Western Colorado favorite, returns to perform for you this Thursday at Fruita's James M. Robb Colorado River State Park. Make plans to attend this incredible concert with the 2014 Colorado Riverfront Commission's Summer Concert Series.

If you're wondering why you're just now hearing about this concert, there is a very tragic answer why. Originally, this final concert in the 2014 series was supposed to feature the Subdudes. Unfortunately, the Subdudes recently suffered the loss of member Johnnie Ray Allen, and were forced to cancel their show.

Michael Martin Murphy and the Rio Grande Band will be performing in their place this Thursday night. Tickets are just $2... that's right, I said $2, and are available at all Western Colorado City Market stores.

For this incredible concert event, please bring your lawn chair and a cooler. You are asked to leave the pets at home. Michael Martin Murphey is well know for his love of animals, however, in this case, your cats and dogs would undoubtedly be happier at home.

Wine, beer, and soft drinks will be available for purchase. Absolutely no outside beverages will be permitted.

Gates open at 6:00pm this Thursday night, with the show starting at 7:00pm, rain or shine.
