Elementary and Middle School students in Mesa County are encouraged and invited to join book clubs forming at the Fruita Branch of the Mesa County Public Library.

Students in each group will read age-appropriate books, discuss what happens in the books, discuss what they like, and participate in other activities to enhance the book.

Starting Wednesday, September 3, the two clubs will meet at the Fruita Branch at 324 N. Coulson in the Fruita Community Center. The elementary book club will meet at 2 pm, and the middle-school club will meet at 3 pm.

The elementary book club is open to all elementary-age students, and the middle-school club is open to students age 11 to 13.

Sign up for the program is required. Each group will be limited to ten readers each. For more information, or to sign up, call 970-858-7703, or visit the Fruita Branch Library.
