The John McConnell Math and Science Center in Grand Junction is introducing three new exhibits this week and wants you to see them.

Although the Math and Science Center has been in existence for more than 20 years in Grand Junction, it still seems to be one of the Grand Valley's best kept secrets.

The Math and Science Center is an educational experience for kids as well as adults featuring various interactive displays and exhibits, but many people may not realize that it does a lot more.

The Center develops and provides resources for class room use, training for educators, as well as developing innovative programs in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Three new exhibits at the Math and Science Center are being unveiled Thursday (Jan. 7) from 6PM to 8PM and they would love for the public to come and check them out. Admission will be free and there will be some light refreshments.

If you have never been to the center, this is a great opportunity to check it out, regardless of whether or not you have kids.

The Math and Science Center is located at 2660 Unaweep Avenue and is normally open Tuesday through Saturday from 10AM -5PM.  Regular admission is $4, or $12 for a family.
