Massive Elk Herd Waits For Lone Straggler to Cross Fence [VIDEO]

There is a lesson to be learned from this herd of elk who jumped the fence, crossed the road, then waited for a lone straggler who was struggling to get over.

They could have moved on, intent on reaching their destination.

They could have moved on, wrapped up in their own journey, too busy to care about what was happening behind them.

They could have moved not worrying about what might happen to the lone straggler.

They could have simply decided they were to busy to stop and wait.

But, they didn't. They waited. And waited. And waited. And, FINALLY, wel -- just take a look at what happens. Of course,  you can't help but feel a little sorry for this struggling elk, but, then, there's the moment of triumph.
