Delivering marijuana may sound like a lucrative opportunity. Three individuals in Grand Junction found out that it's also illegal.

The Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD) along with the Western Colorado Drug Task Force (WCDTF) began an investigation a company advertising marijuana delivery in late September. The so-called company had business cards, a website and social media presence. The company claimed that their services were "donation based" and "not for profit."

During the investigation,  the WCDTF coordinated multiple controlled buys from the company. Two individuals identified by the task force, Tavorus Sutton, 35, and Brianca Bishop, 30. Both suspected to be the primary operators of the business that ran out of their house in the 400 Block of Bulla Drive.

A search warrant was obtained to search the house by the GJPD, Mesa County Sherriff's Office and the WCDTF.

Officials contacted Sutton where they found several ounces of marijuana in his vehicle. They also found marijuana concentrate and drug paraphernalia. Officials also found business cards for the operation and packaging for drugs.

Bishop was also contacted in her vehicle with a juvenile passenger. Marijuana, marijuana concentrate, marijuana edibles, drug paraphernalia, business cards, and packaging materials were located in her possession.

Upon searching the residence, officials seized more than 12 pounds of marijuana concentrate and marijuana edibles. More than three pounds of raw marijuana was also in the home. Also found in the home were many items of drug paraphernalia, packaging materials, advertising materials, and business records. As well as various prescription pills identified to be schedule II controlled substances.

Two young children were found to live in the residence.

Marijuana and other drug related items were in plain sight and within easy reach of the children. A third adult was found to reside at the home, Antonio Cotton, 40. Cotton said he lived at the residence and was babysitting one of the kids at the time.

All three subjects were arrested and taken to the Mesa County jail. They are being charged with the following:
