A man was arrested last night in Grand Junction after making himself 'at home' in a house belonging to someone else.

Grand Junction Police say Tanner Schneller, 27, made himself nice and comfy at a home in the 1100 block of Colorado Avenue in Grand Junction on Sunday night, November 30. Only problem is, it wasn't his house, and he most definitely wasn't invited.

The home's proper resident says he witnessed Schneller enter the house through the back door, find his way to the dining room, and take a seat.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department, Schneller stated he "comes to this address to hang out all the time." The resident of the house disagrees.

The victim says he asked Schneller to leave 10-15 times. When arrested, Schneller appeared intoxicated, and told officers he was extremely high.

Schneller has been arrested and charged with:

  • 1st Degree Criminal Trespass of a Dwelling

Schneller has been booked into the Mesa County Jail.
