Would you like to acquire some form of internet martial arts skills to protect yourself from malware, phishing, and hacking? You're not alone. There's a free class available here in Grand Junction to learn these ninja skills.

The Mesa County Public Library is offering a free Internet safety class on Wednesday, March 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Central Library at 5th and Grand.

This course is designed to teach participants to protect themselves against internet threats such as identity theft, account hacking, and social media.

This class is free to anyone who wants to participate. You don't need to bring anything but your body, questions, and maybe a pen and paper.

The class is free, but seating is limited, and registration is required. To register, call the Mesa County Public Library at 970-243-4442, or visit mesacountylibraries.org, and sign up for the class on the online Events Calendar.
