The first impression of a lady who has 1,100 cats is that she's crazy. But, this cat lady isn't crazy, she's incredibly compassionate.

Lynae Lattanzio has dedicated not only her time, but all her money and her home to create a cat sanctuary.

This unique no cage, no kill sanctuary is called Cat House On The Kings and at 12 acres, is California's largest sanctuary of it's kind.

The sanctuary for abandoned and feral cats cares for approximately 800 cats and 300 kittens. The facility also gives care to critically ill cats.

Lattanzio says even with volunteers to help care for the cats, the sanctuary still needs $1.6 million per year to operate.

While Lattanzio and her staff and volunteers love all the cats, the ultimate goal is to find homes for every cat she is caring for.
