Labor day is one last chance for you to get out and enjoy a nice weekend of camping, fishing or whatever it is you like to do.

If you're like me, you want to get out of town one more time, since there is a nice, long weekend to enjoy. So let's take a look at a few things going on in Colorado this Labor Day weekend!

Held in Colorado Springs at Memorial Park, you will see hundreds of these beautiful hot air balloons floating majestically in the sky. Brightly colored and creative, it always draws a crowd, and for good reason.

Visit Aspen-Maroon Bells

One of the most beautiful places in the state, and one of the most photographed, the Maroon Bells and Aspen hold quite a few activities for you to enjoy. The Aspen/Snowmass Labor Day Jazz Fest has had some exceptional musical acts over the years like Keith Urban, Jason Mraz, and Journey, to name a few. This year, you can catch Lionel Ritchie and The Zac Brown Band, among others.

Vintage aircraft, awesome formation flying, and amazing acrobatic flying make this one a must for anyone who loves airplanes. A lot to see and do including checking out aircraft on the ground. A great day of fun, for sure.

Not only is it beautiful on Beaver Creek, but the fun you will have at Oktoberfest will leave you gasping for air. Enjoy exceptional brews, outstanding food and great music at this event. Just a short drive and you're there!

Go have fun this weekend, it's the last warm weather long weekend of the year.
