KOOL Winner Enjoys Special Kansas Experience

While several people won tickets to Kansas from KOOL 107.9, only one was lucky enough to win a special VIP meet and greet with the band before the concert.

Marilyn Trueblood was the lucky winner and I was fortunate enough to be the one to escort her through this special experience.

In addition to winning two tickets to the show, Marilyn was able to personally meet each member of the band and get an autograph from each one on a special poster created by Paul Cruz of Grand Junction, who made the neon sign Kansas used on stage the last time they were in Grand Junction.

After the autograph signing, we all lined up again for photos with the band. How cool is that?

And, speaking of cool, the band was totally cool behind the scenes - very kind and approachable. Not every rock and roll band is like that.  What a thrill!

Then we headed in for what turned out to be an unbelievable concert!
