It's an invasion of dinosaurs like the Grand Valley has never seen in millions of years as Jurassic Quest comes to Grand Junction September 11 to 13.

Jurassic Quest is making its way across the country and is making it's first ever appearance in Grand Junction at the Mesa County Fairgrounds.

Yes, this is a dinosaur exhibit. No, it is not a traveling museum. Yes, it is fun. No, it is not a movie.

There are more than 50 ultra-realistic, life-size animatronic dinosaurs. Some are interactive, and some even offer rides. Some of the dinosaurs are big and mean looking while some are cute baby dinosaurs.

The kids will love the "Dino Bounce" area filled with  several inflatable dinosaur themed mazes and face painting.  In some of the Jurassic Quest stops you can crawl into a zorb ball and roll down Jurassic Quest Hill.

It sounds like fun and it's educational too. How can that be? If your kids loved the Jurassic movies, I think they are going to love this.

Seeing the movie Jurassic World on the IMAX big screen was amazing because it made the dinosaurs feel so close. Jurassic Quest brings them even closer.
