Is Christmas Caroling a Lost Tradition? [POLL]

When I was younger, our youth group at church would go out and Christmas carol every Christmas Eve. I haven't seen anyone going around Christmas caroling in years. Is this a lost tradition?

Even if I wanted to go Christmas caroling I don't think I know enough of the words to be able to sing a Christmas carol all the way through. Just because I don't know all the words to Christmas tunes doesn't mean everyone does.
