Ingenious ‘Bike-In’ Movie Lets You Leave the Car at Home

So you don't have a car. No problem. This 'drive-in' movie doesn't require one.

While you won't need a car, you are encouraged to ride your bicycle. This free 'bike-in' movie is Thursday (August 25) at the San Juan Pocket Park located at 401 East Main Street in Montrose.

Meghan Baker will be providing some pre-show entertainment beginning at 7:45 p.m. with the classic movie 'Jaws' to follow.

To make things even more fun, there will be complimentary valet bicycle parking. Seating at the park is limited, so pack a blanket or if you're looking for a bit of a challenge, bike to the park with a lawn chair in tow.

The Montrose Area Bicycle Alliance will be selling soft drinks and popcorn as a fundraiser to support their efforts to make Montrose as bike friendly as possible.
